Hi Clint, hope you got back home from the San Bernardino show safely. We had a good trip. We so enjoyed your style of judging and both learnt a lot about Jacs and judging Jacs. Great to see somebody being slow and thorough. It's not a race to pick the best one. We've just had our English Jac show. 180 birds most showing some American influence now which is progress. Chris Norquoy won best in show and reserve with fabulous yellow cocks. I won best red, best splash, won yellow hens, young red hens, and second and third in young white hens which meant an awful lot as I believe if you win with your home bred youngsters you are on the way. Hey Clint I see some nice birds. I used to have Jacks right now I do not have any birds a coon wiped me out. So I just purchased 10 acres and am building a house and a coup of course. So I will not have any birds until that is done. I am going to the show in Bay City Michigan this week end. I am sure Ed Bachman will be there along with several other Jacobin breeders. I used to know Louis Christner too of Jacobin fame. I guess you know the show is dedicated to his memory.

Hi clint, Glad to see someone who loves jacobins as much as I!! I bred jacks since I was 10 and am now 42 and sure miss them and was sorry to ever let them go but I guess life steps in and moving away and getting settled again I would love to rekindle the hobby but am soo out of touch. I bought birds from Harry alexander many years ago but do not know who would sell quality jacks here..any suggestions? I live in Atlanta,Georgia and have bought alot of property and would like to build a first class loft to start off and then purchase birds after the first of the year 2006.Help!4048700107

I have loved this breed since I was a teenager and your site will help promote the breed well. I live in S Calif and am trying to find a local master fancier Drew Lobenstein. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work , your champ black hen is amazing.
